Our school, as the Coordinator, has once again been awarded funding in the European Union grant competition held by the National Agency of the ErasmusPlus Programme and the European Solidarity Corps in the sector of School Education, Action 2 Small-Scale
Partnerships (KA210-SCH).
We have received a grant of 60,000 EURO to implement the project ‘Digi-Games On!’ for the years 2025–2026.
Our project received an excellent evaluation, scoring 94 out of 100 points.
Our Project Partners are a school Mimar Sinan Ortaokulu in Istanbul, Turkey and a school in Tradate, Italy, where student exchange visits will take place during the current and upcoming school year 2025/26.
Project Objectives: – Raising environmental awareness and promoting sustainable consumption among Students and local communities addressing the topic of climate change, – Creating a more engaging and technologically advanced learning environment for
Students and Teachers by integrating digital games and tools into the curriculum, – Developing Students’ digital competences through the use of ICT and Web 2.0 tools, – Enhancing Students’ decision-making, teamwork, presentation, self-expression, and problem-solving skills, – Fostering critical thinking, collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving in teaching.

Student Exchange in Italy, 22nd– 26th June 2025
The second Mobility of our Digi-Games On! Project – Gamified Learning and Sustainability took place in Italy. Our Students, along with Students from Mimar Sinan Ortaokulu
in Istanbul in Turkiye, were the guests of lSlSS Don Milani Tradate in a small town of Tradate in Italy.
A week of learning, creativity, and intercultural exchange started with team-building and icebreaker activities, designed to encourage collaboration and boost confidence
in communicating in English. Students participated in Activities practicing digital skills, encouraging creativity, environmental awareness, and intercultural understanding such as:
- Game jam activity on Genially – designing Student-created games to enhance digital literacy
- Workshop: Introduction to gamification in education – exploring principles, strategies, and benefits,
- Team sports and board games – helping students socialize and build teamwork skills
- Digital arts and crafts – creating digital posters on tolerance using graphic design tools,
- Workshop on how to create our “Digital Gamification Guide”,
- Seminar: „Green Skills and Gamification – Teaching sustainability through games”
- Creation of teaching materials and videos using Movie Maker and Canva with a game-based approach,
- Digital slogans on climate change created with Web 2.0 tools
- Digital story-writing workshop in international teams,
- Cultural visits around Milan, Lake Maggiore and Como to explore Italian heritage and landscapes,
- Planting an Erasmus tree symbolizing unity and environmental sustainability,
- Planning session for the agenda of the next mobility,
- Evaluation of the Mobility and feedback session,
- Farewell dinner and certificates ceremony.
This mobility was not only a chance to strengthen digital and green competencies but also an opportunity to build lasting friendships and deepen understanding of different cultures. Moreover, staying at the Hosting Families has once again proven to be an excellent opportunity to learn foreign customs and traditions through everyday life activities.
We are looking forward to welcoming our Project Partners to Poland in May.

Student Exchange in Istanbul: 26th-30th May, 2025
Our first Digi-Games On! Mobility took place in Istanbul, Turkiye. Our Students, together with Students from the Italian school Don Milani ISISS in Tradate, spent a week as Guests of Mimar Sinan Ortaokulu, a school in Istanbul, a week of Learning, Culture, and Collaboration.
The week began with a warm welcome from our hosts performing their traditional dances followed by ice breaking activities and a school tour helping Students to connect.
During the week in Istanbul, we took part in a wide range of workshops and collaborative activities:
- An informative E-Safety Workshop led by our Italian Partners,
- Introduction to digital board game platforms for creative and educational learning,
- A practical Canva Workshop, where Students designed visual content and learned about graphic design,
- Creation of digital maps highlighting national landmarks from each participating country,
- Designing, printing, and laminating bookmarks as personal souvenirs,
- A symbolic tree planting ceremony, representing unity and sustainability,
- A thought-provoking workshop on conscious consumption and Zero Waste,
- A digital storytelling workshop using the eBook Creator platform, with stories focused on sustainability and environmental themes.
Moreover, the group explored the rich cultural heritage of Istanbul through a series of guided tours:
- A walking tour of the Historical Peninsula, visiting Topkapı Palace, the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque,
- The Eyüpsultan District and panoramic Pierre Loti Hill,
- A visit to Büyükada, one of the Princes’ Islands in the Marmara Sea,
- A tour of the majestic Dolmabahçe Palace,
- A picturesque Bosphorus boat tour, offering views of the city from the water.
The visit concluded with a farewell and Certificate Ceremony, followed by a group evaluation session where Students and Teachers reflected on their learning experiences, and friendships formed during the exchange.
This Student Exchange not only broadened our digital and environmental knowledge but also deepened our understanding of different cultures and strengthened international collaboration.
We can’t wait to see our Project Partners again in Italy in September!

Wymiana Uczniowska w Stambule: 26-30 maja 2025 r.
Pierwsza Mobilność projektu Digi-Games On! odbyła się w Stambule, w Turcji. Nasi Uczniowie, wraz z Uczniami włoskiej szkoły Don Milani ISISS w Tradate, spędzili tydzień poświęcony nauce, kulturze i współpracy, jako goście szkoły Mimar Sinan Ortaokulu w Stambule.
Mobilność rozpoczęła się od serdecznego powitania przez naszych Gospodarzy, którzy zaprezentowali swoje narodowe tańce w barwnych, tradycyjnych strojach, a następnie pokazali nam swoją szkołę.
W ciągu tygodnia w Stambule wzięliśmy udział w szerokiej gamie warsztatów i działań projektowych, takich jak:
• Warsztaty informacyjne dotyczące bezpieczeństwa w sieci przeprowadzone przez naszych włoskich Partnerów,
• Wprowadzenie do cyfrowych gier planszowych jako kreatywnej nauki,
• Praktyczne warsztaty projektowania graficznego w programie Canva,
• Tworzenie cyfrowych map z zaznaczeniem narodowych zabytków,
• Projektowanie, drukowanie i laminowanie zakładek do książek jako pamiątek,
• Sadzenie drzew, symbolizujące jedność i zrównoważony rozwój,
• Prowokujące do refleksji warsztaty na temat świadomej konsumpcji i Zero Waste,
• Warsztaty tworzenia cyfrowych historyjek z wykorzystaniem platformy eBook Creator, skupiając się na zrównoważonym rozwoju i tematyce środowiskowej.
Ponadto Grupa odkryła bogate dziedzictwo kulturowe Stambułu, uczestnicząc w serii wycieczek:
• Dzielnica Eyüpsultan i panoramiczne wzgórze Pierre Loti,
• Piesza wycieczka po Półwyspie Historycznym i zwiedzanie Pałacu Topkapı, Cystern Bazyliki, Hagia Sophia i Błękitnego Meczetu,
• Zwiedzanie Büyükady, jednej z Wysp Książęcych na Morzu Marmara,
• Wizyta w majestatycznym Pałacu Dolmabahçe,
• Malowniczy rejs statkiem po Bosforze, oferujący widoki na miasto z wody. Wizyta zakończyła się ceremonią wręczenia certyfikatów oraz sesją ewaluacyjną, podczas której Uczniowie i
Nauczyciele wymienili się swoją wiedzą, doświadczeniem oraz refleksjami na temat Mobilności. Ta Mobilność, nie tylko poszerzyła wiedzę naszych Uczniów na temat technologii cyfrowych i środowiska, pogłębiła zrozumienie różnorodności kultur, wzmocniła współpracę międzynarodową, ale przede wszystkim, zaowocowała nawiązaniem nowych znajomości i przyjaźni.Nie możemy się doczekać ponownego spotkania z naszymi projektowymi Partnerami we Włoszech, we wrześniu!
